Adrian Byrne-Hull affectionately known as Aj, died 14th July 2007 aged 20 was a student at Braintree college and lived in Witham, Essex With his dad, he lost his mum last year to cancer and has 2 Sisters Shirley and Kellie, 2 Brothers Shaun and Tony, 4 nieces Charmaine, Kayleigh, Lauren and Madison and 5 nephews Andrew, Daniel, Joshua, Kieran and Thomas and a brother-in-law to John, Michelle and Tre.
Aj was rushed into hospital on 13th July after collapsing, he had been having headaches for a few days, we thought he was ill due to his congenital heart disease, pulmonary atresia, he had no artery from his heart to his lungs,he often looked blue due to low levels of oxygen so he was never able to do things most kids could do.
he stopped breathing in hospital on 14th so he was put onto a ventilator in intensive car unit, he was sent to have a brain scan which came back saying Aj had a large Brain Tumor and was told there was nothing the doctors could do due to the size of the tumor, that night Aj had a massive heart attack and died.
Aj was adopted by my Dad Bob and Stepmum Jackie in 1992 when he was 6 years old, he had been in foster care since birth, we was all chuffed to have a new little brother,he was spoilt rotten by all of us, we was told by Aj's specialists that he would not live to see his teens due to his heart condition but he proved them all wrong and may of even lived longer if he didn't have a brain tumor.
Aj loved drawing cartoons and spending alot of time on his pc, he studied IT at college, I would like to mention Harri and Purts who was at college with Aj, he spoke fondly of you both and I would like to thank you for being great friends of his.
we will never forget Aj and glad that he was part of our family.
Aj ....we miss you bro, the kids miss you terribly and rosie the cat........Im going to miss helping you sort your pc out....fill in your forms for you and talking to you on msn....john said the boys night out will never be the same without you......remember when you said youve been thinking about finding your real mum ...well iv found her for you bro....I just wished you gave me the all clear to find her when you was alive .......You was very brave throughout your life .....I just hope that in heaven you have the freedom that you couldnt have in life ........love you Bro xxxxxx
Today (31st July 2007) was Adrian's funeral, My family were really suprised to see loads of friends of Adrian's who attended the funeral, We would like to say a special Thank you to Dan, Ben and Claire who were friends with Aj since school, the 3 of them read such a lovely poem at the service.

aj you was one in a million mate, what ever was thrown at you in life in never seem to phase you, you would just take it on the chin and get on with life. i always admired you for that and always will. we had some great times mate, goin and playin pool a cople of times, the suprise party for you and the one that will always stick in my mind was the prom, id never seen anyone smile so much in one night and have so much fun, i feel privaleiged to have known you.

To the bestest friend a girl could ask for!!
Aj was like a second brother to me, and we were stuck like glue together in Rickstones school, i shall never forget the smile and big grin on his face when dan, ben and i surprised him with a stretched limo for the prom, his eyes were like saucers and couldn't believe what we had done.
I believe that the angels above are with him and i pray they take good care of him, i am also very, very proud of both his parents as i personally think they have made us all very proud.
i miss you so much aj and the cartoons you used to draw for me may you rest in peace as your memory's will live on forever in our hearts today, tomorrow and forever, miss you love Claire xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx

AJ, they say God only wants the good ones young... you proved them all wrong my darling, well done. Your life may have been short, but you gave it your all. I never got the chance to tell you but I was proud of you, as were we all. Hey, say hello to my Mum and Jackie. Im sure they will both take great care of you.
